This course is suitable for complete beginners and those looking to build confidence in stepping out of their comfort zone and dive into intuitive painting to find their unique and authentic visual language.

What to expect

Throughout the course we will explore the fundamentals of abstract art from colour to composition and value but with an emphasis on working with emotion and feelings, We will do this through play and experimentation and through a variety of media, from inks to acrylics and charcoal also including texture and collage.

This course aims to help you find the freedom to express your soul and explore your rich inner world.

Materials needed

SURFACE:
Mixed media paper/ Water colour paper higher weight the better.
Canvas or canvas board

MEDIUM:
Variety of acrylics, ideally Three primary colours, red, blue and yellow and black and white

TOOLS: Variety Of brushes/palette knives//scrapers/old credit card and other found things for mark making.

OTHER:
Masking tape
charcoal/pencils

ABOUT ISEULT

Iseult is an intuitive abstract artist from Bray. She has a HND in Fine Art and is currently studying visual arts practise in NCAD. She has works in private collections both nationwide and internationally. She has taken part in many group shows and has just finished a very successful first solo exhibition in Signal Arts centre. Her artistic journey has been an exploration of the self and an intimate connection with the world around her. With an unwavering dedication to her craft, McCormack has delved into numerous mediums and traversed many creative paths over the years all leading her here translating her innermost visions onto canvas, inviting viewers into the ethereal landscapes of her dreams. McCormack taps into her deep well of inner knowing, capturing the essence of emotions and memories, and translating them into vivid and evocative artworks.
